    On television, on musical recordings, on the big screen or on stage, Patti LaBelle’s voice soars with a warmth that radiates from within.

    A woman of diverse talent, accomplishments and energy, she has been in the public eye for four decades and has recorded more than 50 record albums. This mother of five is also a songwriter, an actress, a businesswoman, a retail maven, and an accomplished cook and cookbook author. Accolades include eight Grammy nods and two wins, an Essence Triumphant Spirit Award, a Cable Ace Award, two American Music Awards, the Soul Train Lifetime Achievement Award, the BET Walk of Fame Award, three Emmy nominations, and seven National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Image awards. She holds honorary doctorates from Drexel University, Cambridge University, and the Berklee College of Music.

    Patti LaBelle also uses her talent and energy to help bring focus and meaningful attention to those many issues which are close to her heart.
